GETTING TO SUDAK

There are two roads go to Sudak from the West and one from the East. Pretty nice road will take you from Simferopol through Belogorsk and several small villages to a fork at Grushevka village (about 80 km from Simferopol) where you should turn right according with a sign:"Sudak". Of course if you'll take a bus or a car, you should not give an advice to the driver. :-) The main road to the left goes to Old Crimea, Feodosia and Kerch. When you'll be passsing
Belogorsk, pay attantion at the big white rock far away from the road. This rock gave the name to Belogorsk.
You can take a bus or taxi from the airport or from railway station or from the main bus station of Simferopol.
The distance is 100 km and a bus goes there in 2.5 hours. The same way you will pass for 1.5 hours by car. If you desided to visit Sudak from Yalta you would have to use a winding, 80 km long road  from Alushta to Sudak.
It could be a big mistake to take a bus on this way - you'll loose all
pleasure from the road but get a negative impression.
If you'll be going with a car and having enough time, you can stop for swimming in several points: Solnechnogorsk, Ribachie or Morskoe. All three villages situated exactly on the coast.
There are also many small cafes with you can use for a lunch.
You should avoid to buy a food from a street-sellers - sometime it could be dangerous for your stomach.
A very good stop could be in Veseloe village. Not exactly in the village, but if you'll go down 6 km to the Sea shore from this village you'll arrive to nice bay.
Of course you may swim there if you want, but reserve a time to take a walk to the left hill. A small path will take you to one from most amasing points with an excellent landscape and nature.
