Livadia is a small town beside Yalta. Nothing special at all in town itself. But it was choosed by last Russian Tsar Nikolay II as a place for his Summer palace. And it is reason you "must see" this place. The palace is great and there are two exhibitions: Museum of Crimean conference in February 1945 and, the Tsar's Apartments. It is a very popular place for the tourists, sometime in July-August there could be crowd of people. You will be lucky if you come there one-two hours before the time of closing of museum - you will be able to look everything slow and careful.
Livadia is very nice in Spring or Fall time - much less people, fresh air and beautiful  views all around.
