TRAVEL TIPS: ALUSHTA

Alushta is a small town and there are not so many museums and signs as in Sevastopol or Yalta. But if you will get tired from the sea and the restaurants, it could be very nice to go to Demerdgi mountain.
You should go toward Simferopol till a roadsign "Luchistoe" on the right side of the road. Turn right and go 5 more kilometres. You will find a private company you could rent a horse.
They charge 25-30 Grivnas per hour for one horse and give you a guide. You will enjoy to see beautiful rocks, could visit ruins of a fortress Funa from XV century.   If you have plenty of time, go to the top of Demerdji with a horse. It will take you about
4 hours round trip and you will get really nice impressions from what you will see.
