TRAVEL TIPS: FEODOSIA

   It's a quite a long way from Simferopol to Feodosia but there is at least one point you  will enjoy to see. It is Armenian monastiery Surb Hach (Sank Cross).It located pretty far in a forest, beside Stary Krim town.
  You should turn right when you just enter to the town and go along a country road about 6 kilometres. The monastiery was founded in XV century, used as a camp for kids after the Revolution, destroyed during WWII and started to be repared several years ago. If you go to Feodosia from Alushta or Sudak by south road you will definately go past Kara Dag. It is an old volcano between two villages Ptivetnoe and Koktebel. You could walk to the volcano from both villages but with a guide only - Kara Dag is a National Park and protected by Government. It is very nice to boat around the volcano in Summer time. And, Koktebel is a very famous "nude beach".
